Our activities are designed to advance novel concepts and frameworks for understanding and responding to the polycrisis through the lens of societal governance. In 2026, we launched a monthly online seminar series on societal governance to support the development of research ideas and papers. In 2027, we will organize a subtheme at the EGOS conference in Liverpool. From 2028 to 2031, the EGOS SWG will serve as the organizational umbrella for annual subthemes and PDWs at the EGOS conference. In parallel, we intend to build bridges between the EGOS, AOM, and public management/policy communities through activities at other conferences.
